USTR Section 301 Determination on Brazil’s Unreasonable Acts, Policies, and Practices

The U.S. Trade Representative determined under Section 301 that certain Brazilian acts, policies, and practices related to digital trade, tariffs, anti-corruption, IP protection, ethanol market access, and deforestation are unreasonable and burden U.S. commerce. The USTR has proposed responsive action for public comment while continuing engagement with Brazil to resolve concerns before the July 15, 2026 deadline.
